Winter in Apollo Beach is anything but a wonderland for Kat and her friends as their Enchanted community comes face to face with Erebus and his latest act of evil that strikes close to the heart. There’s no turning back. Erebus has his sights set on Kat and using her to access the mysterious energy source. Kat will do anything to keep her friends and family safe . . . even if it means surrendering herself to the God of Darkness.

Meanwhile, Kat is finally picking up the pieces of her broken heart and moving on until all goes awry at the Arctic Winter Masquerade Ball. Everything she’s worked for is shattered when she lands in the arms of someone who will divert her path . . . and heart . . . once again.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This series is magical. Allen’s first two books in the series were something spectacular, and the finale does not disappoint. I was a bit worried at first when you find out so much time has passed between the second and third book, but she does an amazing job at filling you in on the past without seeming like we’re stuck in it.

New characters are introduced, and they are just as lovely as our beloved original characters. We see a lot of insight into Katrina’s life in book 3, especially with her family relationships, but we also get a lot of action! And I can’t forget about the romance… oh the romance *swoons*

Tears were shed, feels were had, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Allen does an outstanding job keeping the story interesting, while also building this world of magic. It can’t be an easy thing to do, but she nails it. If you’ve read the first 2 books in The Summer Solstice series, then you MUST continue. But if you haven’t read any of Allen’s work yet, and you’re looking for some good enchanting fantasy, then you need to start with book 1 like asap! —> Enchatnted by K.K. Allen

I’ve given the first 2 books 5 star reviews, and I stand by that with the 3rd. I did receive an arc from the author in exchange for an honest review, but that in no way affected what I’ve said up above. I adore this series and these characters!
