Top Ten Tuesday: December 2, 2014

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme host by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward To In 2015

Katie

  1. Winter by Marissa Meyer – I need the conclusion to this epic series! I am excited about Fairest but I need this one more.
  2. Any Book  by Sarah J Maas – Not the title of a book but I will take any and all SJ Maas.
  3. The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West – I NEED MORE KASIE WEST plus this sounds so cute and sometimes you just need fluff.
  4. The Devil You Know by Trish Dollar – I loved her last book and I have heard nothing but amazing things from early readers.
  5. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – SO excited to see what Leigh does with this world. Also more books about villains and bad guys need to exist.
  6. The Wrath and the Dawn by  Renee Ahdieh – This sounds like nothing I’ve read before and I am so excited about it.
  7. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard – I need more books by Susan in my life.
  8. The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows – Hello amazing fantasy that all my friends love. I need you in my life.
  9. Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray – Please tell me this is getting published in 2015.
  10. Goldscryer Saga book 1 by Rae Carson – Another book I need to know is publishing in 2015.

Kylie

  1. The Death Code by Lindsay Cummings – I haven’t felt the feels of a cliffhanger like in The Murder Complex since Insurgent.
  2. The third Miss Peregrine’s book by Ransom Riggs – I’m waiting for more than a few books that have no names right now. This is one, and I need it.
  3. The third 5th Wave book by Rick Yancey – I will always be anticipating more Evan Walker in my life.
  4. Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi – I really hope this gets published in 2015 because I need some Tahereh middle grade in my life. Plus, I’m in love with the main character’s name, Alice Alexis Queensmeadow!
  5. The Styclar Saga book 2 by Nikki Kelly – I have a feeling that I may become obsessed with this series and I know book 2 will confirm it. Sequels are generally my favorites.
  6. Winter by Marissa Meyer – I still haven’t read Cress yet, I’m saving it so I can binge Cress, Fairest, and Winter. It’s gonna be fun.

Love these choices! Winter is definitely my #1. I’m still sore they pushed it back to November. That’s just criminal. Also can’t wait for the many contemps – The Fill In Boyfriend and The Devil You Know for your list! Fingers crossed Rae Carson’s book will definitely be out next year. 🙂
