Top Ten Tuesday: June 25, 2013

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme host by The Broke and the Bookish

So this week’s topic is the best books you’ve read to so far in 2013! We’re almost halfway through the year, I’ve read 83 books and some amazing ones I want to share with you guys! 🙂

The Standalones

12578313    15745753    16065521

The Debuts*

13517455     10222362     10576365

The Sequels

13206760    8709526     6527740

The 5th Wave

5thwave

*So technically The Darkest Minds is not Bracken’s first novel but it is the first YA (her other book is MG I believe) but I felt it belongs here.

There is my top ten of 2013 thus far! I can say that Siege & Storm would have made this list but I am still currently reading it (I don’t want it to end so I’m reading it SUPER slow). I just put The Last Sacrifice because I enjoyed it the most out of the VA books but I would honestly put them all on here! (I totally did a series binge early in the year) and Yes, The 5th Wave deserves it’s own category. It is epically epic and everyone should read it.

Scarlet’s on my list too, and I really want to read Golden, it sounds so good! It’s also good to know you enjoyed Mila 2.0, I have that ebook and should read it! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my TTT list!

    Awesome choices, Katie!
I really need to read Wild Awake… Of course I loved E&P! 🙂
Oh, the Darkest Minds was sooooooo good. I’m dying to read the sequel! I really want to get to it soon. Reboot was so good too!
Yay, we both finally finished the VA series I see! I just finished the other day.

I have seen Golden on a bunch of lists today. I just put myself on hold for it! Scarlet made my list this week. I am waiting my turn for 5th Wave. I hope it lives up to all the hype. Unfortunately, The Darkest Minds was not the book for me. I really enjoyed her first book, though! http://wp.me/pzUn5-1yN

Love the standalones! Oh, speaking of Alexandra Bracken’s Brightly Woven, I believe it’s YA. The Darkest Minds was so good though and can’t wait for Never Fade. 🙂

Awesome list! I’m a big fan of The Indigo Spell and The 5th Wave too. Wild Awake is one I want to read soon, especially since it’s a standalone.
